Welcome to the blog of the Saltcellar Folk Club in Totterdown, Bristol. The club started in April 2011 and meets on the first Saturday of each month at 7.30pm.
The club meets in the basement of Totterdown Baptist Church in Wells Road, a location with excellent acoustics. Our intention is to invite good quality folk and acoustic acts from Bristol and the surrounding counties to headline each month. To date, for example, we have enjoyed Issy and David Emeney from Somerset (http://www.myspace.com/issyemeney) and Corncrow from Cornwall (http://www.myspace.com/corncrow).
Prior to the main act, each month also includes opportunities for floor singers and musicians.
